Perthshire Mountain Bikes is situated in the picturesque village of Kenmore, on the shores of Loch Tay. This is the Heart of Scotland - central in Scotland, and central too in ease of access. Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are both only one and a half hours away by train, and a bus service connects Aberfeldy with the mainline station at Pitlochry, this service takes 45 minutes. The arterial A9 road, principal highway for the east of the country is also only 30 minutes distant. Regular coach services from many British cities use this route.

Follow the main A827 road from Aberfeldy. Coming into Kenmore follow the Loch Tay Boating Centre signs along to the car park on the left. Turn left as if to enter the car park and follow the road along to us.

The scenery around Kenmore is mountainous and wooded, with many peaks in excess of 1000 metres. Loch Tay is 17 miles long and a mile wide, with the River Tay being one of the most famous salmon rivers in the British Isles. For the touring cyclist opportunities are huge both on and off road. Kenmore is an ideal starting point for short half-one-day or weekend tours and is equally suited for longer tours into the Highlands of Scotland.

Perthshire Mountain Bikes has a wealth of experience in cycling throughout the whole of Scotland and will be pleased to provide any information you may require.
